There are a lot of good things about javaScript because it adds user interaction between the website and the user. It creates the a little animation. Except that security pop-up that shows every time it is used in a website.
The speaker is showing the good side of the language it might not be as concrete as Java or C# but as the speaker said it is successful in the field where Java failed.
